As everyone knows, or should know, I have a 4 month old puppy named Crazy Crouton. Yes, I named her myself. She was the best graduation present that I could ask for!! With that being said this move to Nashville has not only effected me but her as well.
By no means is it a bad, it is just an adjustment. She is now the only dog in the house but that means all the cuddles.
The reason I am writing this is because I have stopped so many people with dogs whether it be on the elevator or just around the city and no one has more than like one suggestion of a fun dog friendly place therefore, I am going to list all of Crouton's favorite hangouts.
Restaurants:
Peg Leg Porker
The Pub
Double Dogs
The Stillery
The Slider House
Winners
Fat Bottom Brewing
Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint
Stores:
*Pet Wants Nashville South (Saturday- free samples for dogs and free beer for the owners) OUR FAVORITE PLACE!!!
Draper James (Reese Witherspoon's flagship)
Marshalls
TJ Maxx
Homegoods
Anthropologie
Valerie Boutique
Imogene + Willie
White's Mercantile
AND the Parthenon at Centennial Park is our absolute favorite location (pictured). There are lots of dogs and lots of grass for them to jump around and play. Carson, Crouton, and I had a picnic there and enjoyed the sunny weather. Plus it is free to sit out side, enjoy the view, and people watch of course lol always.
Heads up there is an app called Bring Fido that works for practically any area! The app can be found on the Apple Store and Google Play Store. This app is a lifesaver if you have a dog. It will list any shops, restaurants, hotels, etc. that allow pets. There are also ratings and comments available to help you narrow your search.
Also if you qualify for a service animal registration I highly recommend using that because Crouton is able to go everywhere even when other dogs can't. Which has been super beneficial for not only our relationship but my anxiety as well :)
