Besties! I finally got my lip fillers done. Before/After posted below :)

If you know me you know I have been wanting permanent cosmetics, plastic surgery, and tattoos since I was a literally child. Stuff like this was normalized in our family. *Disclaimer (before y'all come for my neck) this is NOT required to make us beautiful but to help express ourselves and enhance our natural beauty in ways we feel confident.

Some people get offended or awkward in talking about work that they had done however I am hear to talk about EVERYTHING and ANYTHING.

Here are some fun facts about my personal experience with lip fillers:

• Type of Lip Filler: Volbella

• Amount: 1 syringe (1 cc)

• Location: OVME in Nashville, TN

• Injector: Kristin Polega PA, MPAP (Insta @medaestheticpa)

• My Goals: Full, fake, plump, pouty, and pillowy (yes, I am making that a word now)

• Future: Will be returning in roughly 5 weeks for an additional syringe (I like the fake look.. Lets be clear this does not mean scary extreme duck face!!)

Recommendations:

• If you want lip fillers this is your sign babyyyyy

• Research (repeat x3)

• Find who has done work closest to what you want your end goal to look like

• Set up a consultation

• Bring inspo pics!!!

• Bring pics of what you do NOT want (no beak look for us)

• Ask a bunch of questions, then ask more

• Know your budget, this shit adds up quick (well worth it though)

Be Prepared:

• Major swelling first 2 days

• Pain the first day (numbing cream helps with the injections but it wears off about 30 minutes after the appointment)

• BRUISING (mine lasted about a week)

• Talking funny the first day (literally could have just been me but I had a funny accent thing day 1)

• Your lips will shrink about 30% from your initial swelling (night 1/day 2)

• To know how to act once your lips are making Bratz jealous
